Kickers was born from a dream: to create the brand of youth shoes. In 1970, Daniel Raufast came across the poster for the musical Hair. It clicked: in the middle of Flower Power, he wanted to fit this generation that swears only by jeans! Nearly 50 years later, Kickers has become what few manage to do: a cross-generational brand that appeals to young and old alike. Since its creation, Kickers has been driven by a desire to shake up conventions and assume its style. A claimed non-conformist spirit, which allowed him to bring together an audience eager for freedom, authenticity and optimism. All while creating a very strong link with the music, becoming the essential accessory of Roger Daltrey, Rod Stewart or the Arctic Monkeys. | ![]() |

A ce vestiaire de la fantaisie revendiquée, il manque un élément clé qui serait
à la chaussure ce que le jean est au pantalon : le symbole d'une culture alternative,
l'expression d'une différence en même temps qu'une promesse de plaisir.

Kickers, the genuine jeans bootThis shoe appeared for the first time in the spring of the same year: it was called KICKERS, based on the word KICK and KER (for the American touch), with an 'S' added to underscore the similarity with the word 'jeans' .
